Frankfurt School Scholarship for International Students in Germany 2015-2016


Frankfurt School of Finance and Management offers a number of three scholarships to the international students for commencing undergraduate and masters degree for the academic year 2015-2016. Bachelors scholarship is to support qualified students and consists of a tuition reduction of 25% or 50% and 75% in exceptional cases. All tuition fees at Frankfurt School are waived for scholarship holders. If the scholarships are split, then a 50% tuition waiver is granted.The aim of the Frankfurt School funding programme is to provide especially talented candidates with an opportunity to study irrespective of their financial circumstances.

Study Subjects

For bachelors students scholarship is available to all bachelors programmes offered by the Frankfurt School and following are for Masters study: Master of Finance(MSc), Master in Management(MSc), Master of International Business(MA)

Selection Criteria for Masters Scholarship

Scholarship Duration

Scholarships are awarded initially for a period of two semesters and are only extended if candidates perform to the standards required by the respective study programmes.

How to apply

Candidates apply to the study programme. It is not possible to submit a separate application for a scholarship.

Application Deadline

The complete application for the study programme must be submitted by 30 June 2015.

Notification

Applicants will be notified by the Frankfurt School by 31 July 2015 at the latest if they are being considered for selection.

Application Process

You apply for a scholarship at the same time you apply for admission.Deadline is 31 May for entry in August. Frankfurt School awards scholarships on an ongoing basis and funds may be exhausted before the deadline. We therefore strongly encourage everyone to apply early. Applications for admission are accepted up to one year in advance and Frankfurt School decides based on preliminary grades, so there is no need to wait until you have your final school leaving certificate.

Griffith International Undergraduate Scholarship Australia 2015


Griffith University Australia is offering International Undergraduate Excellence scholarships for the year 2015-2016. Scholarships is available to the students of all the countries except Australia and New Zealand. Only one scholarship will be given to applicants for two semester.   • a personal statement which includes why the applicant has applied for the scholarship, the selected program of study at Griffith University and other information they feel strengthens their application for the scholarship

Applicants are accessed by a panel which will consider previous academic results, personal statement and reference
 Griffith International seeks to attract a diverse student cohort in terms of nationality and study discipline and reserves the right to distribute scholarships accordingly.

Offer Process


Scholarship applicants will usually be advised in writing of the outcome of the scholarship within one month of the application closing date and will be given a date by which to accept the scholarship. Scholarship offers not accepted by the specified date will be withdrawn.

Sichuan Provincial Government Scholarship For Foreign Students 2015-2016

The scholarship is applicable to the higher education institutions of Sichuan Province which are entitled to enroll foreign students. These institutions include full-time regular higher education institutions, higher vocational colleges and junior colleges which have been approved by the Chinese Ministry of Education and offer formal programs.
Standard:
Doctoral student scholarship: 30000 RMB/person/year
Master student scholarship: 25000 RMB/person/year
Undergraduate student scholarship: 20000 RMB/person/year
Junior college student scholarship: 15000 RMB/person/year
Long term student scholarship: 10000 RMB/person/year

Qualification of Applicants


Excellent students among the doctoral students, master students, undergraduate students, junior college students and long term students who are studying in the relevant institutions and who are applying to study in the institutions. The students will get the scholarship every year until they finish their study on the premise that they are approved by the institutions every year.

Foreign students may search on the website of the institutions to get the information about the procedure of enrollment and the application for scholarship. Based on the application requirements, foreign students may directly submit written application to the relevant institutions.

International Undergraduate Scholarship in Australia 2015

The University of Melbourne Australia is now accepting applications for the undergraduate and masters scholarship application forms from the international students who want to study in the University of Melbourne. The International Undergraduate Scholarships were established by the University of Melbourne in recognition of the significant contribution made by international students to the diversity of the University's student population.

Benefits

The International Undergraduate scholarship provides one of the following benefits:
  • a one off $10,000 fee remission from tuition fees in the first year of an undergraduate degree; or
  • a 50% remission from tuition fees for the normal full-time duration of an undergraduate degree; or
  • a 100% remission from tuition fees for the normal full-time duration of an undergraduate degree.

Eligibility

To be considered for a fee remission scholarship you must:
  • be a citizen of a country other than Australia and New Zealand and not a permanent resident of Australia;
  • have received an unconditional offer for an undergraduate course;
  • have achieved excellent final year school results, such as:
    • 4 A-grades in the GCE A Levels
    • an ATAR of 99.9 in the Australian Year 12 program,
    • overall 98% in an approved Foundation program
    • an International Baccalaureate (IB) score of 44; and
  • not have  previously undertaken any tertiary studies (excluding extension studies completed as part of a year 12 program);

Application

You do not need to submit an application for this scholarship. All eligible students who have received an unconditional offer for admission to an undergraduate degree will automatically be considered.

Selection

International Undergraduate Fee Remission Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit and allocated on a competitive basis subject to quotas by course and region. Scholarships have been awarded to students from countries such as Mexico, Singapore, Bangladesh, China, Mauritius, Sweden, Malaysia, USA and India.

Outcome

There are five selection rounds with a designated number of scholarships available for each round:
  • November, December and January for student commencing in Semester 1 or 2
  • April and May for students commencing in Semester 2
Successful candidates will be notified via email within two weeks of the selection round being held.

Aichi Scholarship for Asian Students in Japan 2015

The Aichi Prefectural Government is offering ten scholarships to graduate level pupil from Asiatic area who are nominated by the universities in Aichi. Erudition will be awarded for a period of six month (as a inquiry bookman ) and 2 years (as a headmaster ’s course student). Applier must study a content recognized as pertinent to the support of Aichi’s manufacturing industry. After completing their courses of study, these students will then be highly expected to seek employment within Aichi. Applicants must apply through graduate schools located in Aichi between March-May 2015

Number of Students:

10 students each year

Period of Scholarship:

6 months (as a research student) and 2 years (as a master's course student)

What We Provide:


Living allowance(150,000 yen per month)
Travel expenses to Japan   
School expenses (entrance examination fees, entrance fees and tuition for both research and graduate study)

Terms & Conditions:


a. Citizenship: Applicants must hold citizenship of, and currently reside in, one of the following Asian countries:Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, China, East Timor, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, or Vietnam.
b. Age: Applicants must be under 35 years old of age as of April 1, 2014.
c. Academic Degree: Applicants must have a bachelor's degree or the equivalent thereof.
d. Field of Study: Applicants must study a subject recognized as pertinent to the support Aichi's manufacturing industry.
e. Japenese Language Ability: Applicants must have a fairly good command of the Japanese language to study and seek employment in Aichi, or have the prospect of obtaining sufficient language ability.
f. Post-Scholarship Employment: Applicants must have the intention to seek employment at a company that has its headquarters or a branch office located within Aichi (whether or not work placement should fall in Japan).
g. Internships: During their course of study, applicants must participate in an internship program offerd by companies introduced by the Aichi Prefecturl Government or another organization.
h. School: Applicants must intend to study at a graduate school in Aichi.
i. Recommendation: Applicants must have a letter of recommendation from their intended place of study.

Selection:

The governor selects the scholarship recipients from among applicants recommended by the Aichi Scholarship Program Selection Committee.

Application:
