The scholarship is offered to all international students who are willing to take part in any arts or sports subject.
Academic Qualifications
For Sports Program, candidates must have nationally or internationally recognized license, certificate, or equivalent document that shows the competence of the candidate or his/her past achievement for sports program.
For Arts Program, candidates must have nationally or internationally recognized license, certificate, or equivalent document that shows the competence of the candidate or his/her past achievements. Additionally audio and/or visual copies(portfolio) of the works produced or performed by the candidate must be included in the application.
For both programmes, the candidates are expected to have a demonstrated interest past experience in the field applied, which has to be proven.In the assessment, the hopeful's past scholastic accomplishments and grades are mulled over. Likewise, the applicant's aptitudes in expressions and games, demonstrated capacity with prospects, and ability to add to relations in the middle of Turkey and the competitor's nation of origin.
Application Process
Applications are received online. Applicants must fill in the application form electronically, scan the supporting documents, and upload them into the system. In the application form, candidates may select universities or departments provided.

Application Requirements
International students, who are citizens of any country outside Turkey, may apply for Arts and Sports Programmes.
Application requirements and supporting documents are as follows:
General Application Requirements
a/ Having a citizenship other than Republic of Turkey citizenshipb/ Being a graduate or likely to graduate at the end of the present academic year
c/ Meeting the age criteria specified in the application form.

e- Nationally or internationally recognized license, certificate or equivalent documents; portfolio (audio and/or visual; for Arts Programme only)
f- At least 1 reference letter
g- Permit letter from the institution candidates have obligatory relationship with or a letter of assent (To be requested from winning candidates)
SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT
For 2015-2016 academic year, amount of monthly scholarship is 600 TL for undergraduate, 850 TL for master, 1200 TL for PhD (Proficiency in Arts).
In addition, return flight ticket, Turkish language course, accommodation, tuition and general health insurance costs will be provided.
SCHOLARSHIP IMPLEMENTATION PROCESS
Winning candidates, who do not have proficiency in Turkish language, will be granted Turkish language scholarship for one year in the beginning.
Within this period, candidates must get admission to at least one of the universities and departments that they have chosen in the application. It is the candidates' responsibility to prepare for the admission exams and to get admission. Candidates who successfully complete Turkish language course and get admission in one year will continue their studies as Arts and Sports scholarship holders.
Applications will be evaluated by Türkiye Scholarships- Art and Sports Evaluation Committee.
Scholarship duration is one-year for Turkish language course and the normal duration of the course.
